Vandals scrawl hateful graffiti at home of New York Giants fullback Nikita
Whitlock
Vandals broke into the apartment of New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock
Tuesday evening.
Whitlock discovered a broken window at his Moonachie apartment which he shares
with his wife and two young children. Whitlock and his family were only gone for
a few hours when the incident occurred. The thief stole jewelry and and video
games but left behind some expensive electornics including laptops.
However, the much more disturbing thing is that the vandals scrawled hate
graffiti on the walls, including the “KKK,” “Trump” and “Go back to Africa.”
Whitlock covered the hateful graffiti with sheets to prevent his 6-year-old son
from seeing it, but posted a photo of some of it on Instagram.
Whitlock and his family were safe but they are daddened by the hate. It was the
second break-in at the residence in the six months the family has lived there.
Whitlock said the he made a decision to move out of the home before the
break-in.
Since the presidential election, hate and harassment incidents have spiked in
the weeks.
Police are still under investigation in this break-in incident.
